Pensar is delighted to announce that we are one of the first members of the newly established Apple Consultants Network.

Mark Williams started Pensar as a consultancy and Mac Support service in 1996 having prevously been involved in the Apple sector since 1985. So our involvement with Apple and especially Mac technologies goes back to the beginning. Some 20% of our current clients are users of Mac users and, with the advent of iPhones and now iPads, this percentage is on the increase.

We provide support and advice for all Macs, MacBooks, Apple servers, Mac OS X, iPhones and iPads and ensure that they integrate effectively with your Windows networks. Our Apple skills are available as part of a managed services agreement or a Remote IT Support arrangement.

This new accreditation strengthens our relationship with Apple and our certified ACSP (Apple Certified Support Professional) and ACTC (Apple Certified Technical Coordinator) staff provide further peace of mind to our client base.

I just wanted to share this feedback I received from a new client of ours, after a meeting I had with them yesterday, and I asked them why they had chosen Pensar for their IT support.

They had initial meetings with 3 possible providers, Pensar and 2 others. One of the others made no effort to listen and was simply intent on showing his PowerPoint presentation about how great his company was. The other attended the meeting dishevelled with food crumbs down his front and spread his coat, laptop and paperwork over the meeting table and launched into a speech without pausing to introduce himself properly and indulge in at least the briefest of polite small talk.

We, on the other hand, listened to the requirement, ascertained the concerns and made 5-6 key comments/recommendations in that first meeting that gave the client confidence and moved the situation forward straight away. That simple process won us the business.

Lessons:
- Be smart, presentable and polite
- Listen, listen, listen
- Don’t open your mouth until you have something of value to say

If you would like to know more about our services, please don’t hesitate to <a title="Email Mark" href="mailto:mark.williams@pensar.co.uk" target="_blank">contact me for more information.
